Crisis Text Line serves anyone, in any type of crisis, providing access to free, 24/7 support and information via a medium people already use and trust: text. Here’s how it works:
Text HOME to 741741 from anywhere in the United States, anytime, about any type of crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment.

We contract with and accept most MassHealth and most private health insurance plans. No one residing in the communities we serve will be denied services, regardless of ability to pay.
Lahey Behavioral Health also provides Emergency Psychiatric Services , “Our emergency psychiatric services and mobile crisis team are available 24/7, 365 days per year. We see people in their homes, schools, day care centers or other safe locations. We cover all of northeastern Massachusetts. Our service area extends north of Lynn and west to and including greater Lowell.”
